About Myra

Myra’s personal commitment is to conduct business the ‘right way’. That means focusing on providing exemplary service so that you feel comfortable working with her every step of the way.

Myra’s philosophy is based on a simple premise – treat everyone with respect, deliver on promises and always have a clear and open dialogue with clients and prospective clients. This transparency combined with an in-depth knowledge of the market and a tenacious appetite for negotiation, makes Myra one of the most effective Realtors in the National Capital area. Nothing would please Myra more than if you choose to use her extensive experience in business, marketing, finance, negotiating, as well as life, to help you achieve your real estate goals.

Myra has all of the qualities you need in a Realtor:

Educated Professional

In 2003, Myra achieved the highest designation possible – that of Real Estate Broker. As the Broker of Record, President and owner of Milestone Real Estate Inc., she is qualified to guide you with the purchase or sale of any type of real estate, whether residential, investment or commercial.

Dedicated & Experienced

Throughout the years, Myra has been the proud owner of many homes, the first one purchased in 1980. At the time, she was nervous about owing so much money, so just for information, she decided to take the entire Real Estate Course and graduated at the top of her class. This was just the beginning of her ‘love affair’ with buying and selling real estate ….

Highly Ethical

Ethics and integrity have been a strong focus throughout Myra’s more than 25 years of business ownership. She strongly believes in living with integrity, both personally and professionally; a notable achievement occurred in 1987 when Myra became the first female President of the Better Business Bureau of Ottawa-Hull.

Marketing Know-How

Prior to opening Milestone Real Estate Inc. in April 2006, Myra owned and operated three other companies over a span of 25 years. They were involved with the regulation of advertising and the marketing of related services. This same expertise can be applied to help you market your home to achieve the highest price possible in the shortest amount of time.

Motivator and Achiever

Myra is a founding member of the WBN (Women’s Business Network) and continues to support and mentor her colleagues. During her years at RE/MAX, she was a consistent member of the 100% Club signifying that she is a ‘high achiever’.

In 2006, a joint venture with the VON and the Alzheimer’s Sociery saw the successful completion of a fund-raising effort to build The Guest House – a 12 bedroom bungalow to provide respite for those with mild to medium dementia while their care givers are provided with a much needed rest.

Myra supports Habitat for Humanity NCR, the Youville Centre, the Cancer Foundation, Operation Go Home, Juvenile Diabeties and many other worthy causes.
